The Project
When a boat owner in the Florida Keys wanted his 36-foot Pursuit DC 325 protected in a bold gloss blue PPF, he didn't settle for a local sign shop. He called Coastal Yacht Protection — and we booked a flight to Key Largo.
The Pursuit DC 325 is a serious dual-console fishing machine with complex hull geometry: sharp bow entry, wide flared sides, integrated rod holders, and multiple through-hull fittings that all had to be removed and reinstalled. This is the kind of vessel that separates marine protection film specialists from car shops pretending to do boats.
We set up at Key Largo Harbor Marina and went to work in the Florida sun. The result is a head-turning blue hull with clean white accents, custom "TRIVIAL PURSUIT" lettering, and a finish that looks like it rolled off the factory floor in a color Pursuit never offered.
We Go Where the Boat Is
This project is proof that we don't just service New England. When the job calls for it, we'll fly anywhere on the East Coast — and beyond — to protect your vessel. From Beverly, Massachusetts to Key Largo, Florida: 1,500 miles, one team, one standard of quality.
Why the Owner Chose PPF Over Paint
Cost
A full marine paint job on a 36-footer runs $25,000–$40,000+. Paint protection film delivers the same visual impact at a fraction of the cost — even including our travel expenses.
Color Options
Pursuit doesn't offer this blue from the factory. PPF gives you access to hundreds of colors and finishes that boat manufacturers never will.
Protection
The PPF acts as a sacrificial layer, protecting the original gelcoat from UV damage, salt, and minor impacts. When it's time to sell, remove the film and the hull is pristine.
The Journey
